NotesTook a detour off I84 and had a solo set here today. Im curious how many ppl have sunk this spot. Id guess not many. But thanks are in order to Weaver for another truly excellent discovery. Beautiful, road side, in the middle of nowhere, and, it also happens to be in most the year. At this level, the ferry and eddy service are much more user friendly than it appears in the videos. The entrance was easy and consistent, taking me deep every time. The ride, really dynamic with depths unknown. There seemed to be 3 distinct zones. The gentle left channel which was hard to stay in but smooth. The interface that was unpredictable and turbulent. And the main (river right) channel that got you traveling down stream in a hurry, like a conveyor belt. Plenty of 10 sec. rides today with more on tap for the more initiated (than myself). I should mention I did tag a rock on one early, deep entry after leveling off but it was deep dark and green and i didnt see much. Id love to see this spot at 4000-4200 cfs

Notesbetter than 5000cfs, due to the fact that its easier to get back into the eddy on river right after a big ride... for this reason, 5000cfs may be the max for this spot. see vid. its epic...lots of support in seam. excited to go back at even lower flows.

Notes10+sec rides possible. eddy service would be way better at a a grand or two lower because you end up traveling so much. Used a paddle most of the time. would come back at this level.
